The Becklund Bounties: It's Game Time

So, this other week we had quite the week at our house. It was full of game parities which equals way too much fun at our house! On Tuesday Brett had the day off and really wanted to spend time with his friend Chris before he leaves us for his new job in North Carolina. They decided that they were going to spend the day playing Axis and Allies with some of their other friends (Brett has been dying to do this for months and months) They had a blast and spent the day watching war movies and playing their lovely little game. We sure are going to miss of Chris! ( and Erin!!)

On Friday night Brett had his third annual Settler's of Catan tournament. We start with 12 people and four games working out way down to the final four. The four compete in the final game. Winner take all ($20 gift certificate to wherever they choose). We had a blast and it was perfect. Our friend Erin steamrolled EVERYONE and won the entire thing quite impressively. I was totally taken out in the first round (like every other year) so I played with the camera and the little ones while everyone else continued playing. We had so much fun and loved having everyone over. Hope they had as much fun as we did!
